This laptop puts Microsoft in a position to be an industry leader in the future of hardware.  The design and innovation is something to revel in, as long as you can afford it. The Surfacebook 1 was a big step forward for the future of laptops, it was a true two-in-one product and the second version is no different.  They have improved the dynamic hinge and made it significantly more solid and sturdy, as well as make big leaps when it comes to processor and overall specs.

Most second versions of products from Microsoft make big leaps in terms of progress and improvements, but this version makes serious moves up in performance. They incorporated the Nividia GTX 1060 6GB and the 1.9 Ghz i7 intel processor along with a 1TB ssd.  The cameras have both been upgraded front and rear, an industry leading 8MB resolution on the front facing camera.

The Surfacebook comes in either a 15 inch screen or a 13.5 inch screen maxing out with a 3,240 x 2,160 (260 ppi) PixelSense display.  The touch screen is gorgeous with amazing contrast capabilities and works flawlessly for pen use and drawing or designing.  The ability for owners to detach the tablet and draw freely without having to worry about hand interaction with the screen makes the unit significantly more capable.

Price is the only thing that puts a question mark on this product.  The fully loaded 15 inch option tops out at $2,800 dollars and the lowest 13.5 inch comes in at $1,100 dollars asking.  The lowest option only includes 8GB of RAM and 128 GB ssd.

The reality is that this is a traditional laptop as well as a convertible full fudged tablet.  It is built for mobile use but packs the power and versatility to ensure that virtually any industry will be able to get the job done if they lean on its capabilities.  Considering it is a two-in-one option at the literal pull of the screen, this surface book is beginning to change the way people see and use Microsoft products.
